A truly epic tour loaded with beautiful terrain, gracious community hosts, challenges and countless learning opportunities to ensure this is a once in a lifetime experience. From Amsterdam through Germany, rolling through the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, before arriving in Hungary. As compared to the more established Mexico Route, this tour is best suited for individuals who have a strong willingness to contribute to planning and organizing in the months leading up to the tour. Patience and a sense of humour will be important, as even with thorough preparation plans may change frequently and/or unexpectedly.

Amsterdam to Budapest (5 weeks, 2000 km)

FUNDRAISING: $1000 minimum
What’s Included: The trip fee covers an incredible summer with memories for a lifetime! Plus 3 meals a day, all accommodation, the support vehicle, team insurance and group gear. Publications like the Lonely Planet estimate a minimum spend of $40 to $80 per day when backpacking through Europe. A full RTBTC Europe tour, with spending money, works out to be less than $40 per day!

What’s Not Included: Riders are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the tour, providing their own bike and gear, and must have personal travel insurance.

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY:
- Each rider is responsible for raising $1000. A daunting number at first, but we promise you it is   easier than you think. We are here to assist you every step of the way, and we promise you it   ends up being easier than you think.
- Train! You’ll be happy you did.
- These are participant led tours so we also ask that each rider invest time before the tour to  work with their ride leaders to help prepare.
