Critical mass – a story told in pictures

So yesterday, myself (Sean) and a slew of other AOC riders participated in Critical Mass, a randomly-organized mass ride through the city of Vancouver. If you've never been, Critical Mass is on the last Friday of every month, and meets 5:30 at the art gallery. Show up with a bike. Words can't do justice to how much (free!) fun it is, so I'll tell the story entirely in pictures. You can spot the AOC folks by their red and grey jackets. Oh - one more things ...

Last general meeting before the ride!

Hey Everyone! So last night we had our final general meeting before we actually jump on our bikes and head out on this crazy trip. I'm REALLY excited to just get out there and ride, but there's SO much going on before we leave! The crew was out in full effect, minas a few folks from Kelowna who arriving in a weeks time. The last couple of weeks have been completely nuts - although those that know us will wonder how that differentiates them from any other weeks in the last 6 months. With the ride kickoff date screaming towards us at a pace that seems somehow outside of the ...

Busiest week ever! Pt. 1 – Tuesday & Wednesday

Hey Gang! Quick post about how last week went: On Tuesday, Shawn (prez), Keely and Sean (me) went on a 24 hour whirlwind of a road trip up to Kelowna to support Janine and Lisa (our K-town AOC'ers) at their first event. The ride up was a great time to relax and enjoy a 3 hour break - most of us have been working on the ride non-stop :). We drove quickly. When we finally made it up, Janine and Lisa were in full swing, ...
