Things just keep on picking up momentum with lots of new riders on board for 2008, established working committees for key projects and exciting new developments on the horizon. The AOC-U Microcredit Challenge is kicking off this Friday at UBC and SFU here in Vancouver, and with THIRTEEN teams registered its already guaranteed to be a success. Well, we're in full swing putting together the new team for Riding to Break the Cycle '08, having filled up about half of the team and barely launched our recruitment campaign - its almost enough to make us think about adding another route this year...almost. Our trip leaders for next year are hard at work contacting communities down the Pacific Coast to secure accomodation and arrange presentations and community events, and our new riders have already gotten off to a great start to meet their fundraising ...

So Emma and I headed down to San Fran last week to meet with Jess Arnett, who lives there. Emma and Jess are going to be leading next year's Riding to Break the Cycle tour, and this is the first time they've met! The trip was a resounding success, with some serious headway in planning next year's ride, catching up with the Kiva crew to talk about a few things, and generally enjoying the amazing town that is San Fran.
