Bikes!

So, as many of you know we are not exactly the most adept cyclists to ever attempt to cross most of a continent. In the last couple of weeks we finally have everyone on a bike thanks to Bikes On The Drive in Vancouver essentially turning their entire shop over to us for days at a time. Everyone is hard at work getting some kilometres into their legs, some impressive scrapes and bruises, and an understanding of why padded bike shorts are a necessity!

An incredible amount to do in the 10 days before we go, and half the team in the middle of final exams - hmmm, lesson one for next year…. Tomorrow is the final general meeting for the organization before the ride so we’ll be prioritizing and splitting up the remaining details and making sure everyone is ready to roll!
