In less than a year

Just a quick reflection on how crazy it is to regularly run into random people that know what we’re up to, to receive notes from Canadian Ambassadors and UN officials, to have supportive contacts across the continent and overseas, and an absolutely overwhelming group of incredibly inspiring and capable volunteers.

All in less than year. Sometimes hard for us to get our heads around the speed with which everything has happened, and the limitless potential now so evident. Thanks everyone, couldn’t have done any of it with out all of your support.

 If we seem a bit reflective, we are. With many things slowing down a bit over the holidays we actually have a spare braincell or two to think, and with the momentum generated its time to do some more hard planning at a strategic level. Where will we have the most impact in focusing our energies and resources in 2008 and going forward? We have a couple of retreats planned over the next month or so for the ever growing core group to work together to provide input, and perhaps have even have a bit of fun together
