Photooooos!
Hi all! So the rider team is arriving in Newport, well into Oregon tonight. They’ve still been getting hammered by the rain as you’ve been reading, though word has it there is sunshine in the forecast for the next several days (finally!). They sent us a pile of photos last night, though internet access remains sparse.
This team is so tight its amazing

Its around this point in the trip that the excitement about jumping back on your bike every morning can start to wane a little…some days its the last thing you wan to see at 8am, and sometimes it is a bit of a struggle to get rolling (some would say this starts earlier, haha, expecially in the rain). This team seems incredibly tight, and spirits remain very high – very welcoming hosts at most destinations make a big difference too.
1.5 weeks in, 5 to go!

Thanks for the great photos. So it’s true- it is raining there too? Watching the forecast it’s supposed to improve from now for a few days at least and by then you’ll be closer to the warmth of California. The time is really flying and you’ll be there before you know it so hope you enjoy every chance you get to experience the uniqueness of such a journey. Is this what it means to be alive? Hope those muscles are getting stronger now and watch out for those trucks! All the best to you all.
Thank you all for your stop in Manzanita. You are all an inspiration and Mary and I (Noelle too) have been thinking a lot about you. Hope the beautiful Oregon Coast clears up the further south you go. We will keep up on your progress.
Great to see the pictures
Keep up the amazing work you guys!!!!!!
Those of us sitting back at home are very proud of you.
You all should be very proud of yourselves for participating in such a worthy cause. The photos are a wonderful way to document your journey and let your parents and loved ones know how you are doing. It looks like a lot of fun, and the scenery is fantastic. Keep smiling, you are doing something that makes a difference in this world. All the best to you!
